This year too, it was a year in which the Israeli and global diamond industries underwent crises in the export and import of diamonds.
Israel has shown a decrease of 20% in the export of polished diamonds and a significant decrease of about 28% in rough diamonds Exports.
Net polished exports reached almost 5.0 billion dollars, as compared to 6.267 billion dollars in the previous year.
Net imports of Rough diamonds totaled 2.8 billion compared to 4.0 billion in 2014;
Net exports of rough diamonds totaled 2.2 billion dollars, compared to 3.0 billion dollars in 2014.
Net imports of polished diamonds to Israel totaled 3.5 billion dollars - this is a decrease of about 23% in comparison to the previous year, 2014.
